Breaking new ground by Transformator Differential Protection and Control system CSP2-T

As a consequent progress of the combined protection and control systems a new device is to be added to the products of the SYSTEM LINE. Beside the existing systems for feeder protection and line differential protection now the combined transformer protection and control system CSP2-T has entered the stage of protection techniques.

Finally you have got the possibility to protect, monitor and control your two-winding transformer all out. Supervision of the BCD-coded tap changer position is as possible as analogue measurement of the transformer temperature.

For main protection there is a phase current differential protection function which clears the inner fault in a minimum trip time. In case of a fault outside the protection zone the differential protection function will be stabilized instead of a blocking! Thus your transformer is all-time safe.

Protective functions such as voltage protection and frequency protection which bases upon the 3-phase voltage measuring are further milestones of a modern transformer protection. Moreover downstream protection can be done by additional protective functions e.g. directional overcurrent protection and directional short circuit current protection. By using the standard programmable logical functions SL-LOGIC customer-specific functions can be realized.

The connection of the CSP2-T to an existing SCADA system using IEC 60870-5-103, Profibus DP or Modbus RTU as data transmission protocol could be done by ease.
